Does what we wear show or hide who we are?

WHAT THE WEAR

During the act of pouring thread over my face, in the making of this video - before knowing what the video was actually about - I realized the following: that wearing cool clothes feeds my ego.

It was later my conclusion that, ego or not, wearing is an act of putting a skin over our skin, it's a choice. And it's also a choice to take it out. What the wear! It's always possible to clean oneself from "wearing" clutter.

Embodiment is how I work, and the way I connect with textures, objects and spaces. Embodiment during silent moments of togetherness is also how I connect with others.

From my own body and to/for/with other bodies, whether human, natural or artificially fabricated, I perform works with known, familiar objects, and within known, familiar situations, pursuing the large ambition of creating further, deeper, truer human links.
