This exhibition is part of the series FRISCH Visarte.
Starting the new year strong! With a selection of works on paper, and a live-drawing session, I gathered in Madrid some of my favorite people among colors, lines, and food. In the kitchen, literally.
The showroom of Kitchen for Life generously hosted my open studio. The colorful stories of the series “Liquid Moments”, “Periscope”, and “Body Parts” were boldly fitting the themes of nutritious art and social togetherness.
Visarte Zurich is once again organizing a major exhibition at the Photobastei at the end of the year. Entitled "Insights 2023: Visarte Zürich & Friends", the exhibition brings together over 200 artists and works that provide an insight into Zurich's diverse art scene. It is curated by Nicolas Bischof, Tanja Breu, Clare Goodwin, Lorenzo E. Metzler, Sandi Paucic, Len Schaller.
I participate with a ceramic sculpture from the project-in-progress “Unsere Zeit” (Our Time).
The exhibition is part of the tradition of annual exhibitions that Visarte Zurich has initiated and successfully organized for several years. The exhibition brings a presentation of works by Visarte Zürich members, and additional guests, exhibition spaces and individual positions who have been invited to present their own curatorial program.
A lost city upon a smile, diamonds, and fish among bubbles. Now tattooed on the skin of a unique fashion accessory.
With a live-drawing performance in the intimacy of the studio, I interpreted a story for fashion brand Tally Marks, on - and with - one of their signature harness bags.
Tally Marks’ accessories are made in small editions by artisans in Lebanon and with Italian materials.

I am participating with a ceramic work from the series Tongues in this exhibition celebrating works and artists from Zurich.
Organized by artist duo Huber Huber.
Between 7.07.2023 and 21.08.2023 an available selection drawings from the ritualistic series “Periscope” are on view in a dedicated page: Little Absurdities collection.
“Little Absurdities” is based on the myriad of tiny details always present in the drawings of the series. Dreamy characters, absurd objects, body parts, and omnipresent cultural symbols are some of the stories inside each of these universes depicted on paper.
All drawings of the collection “Little Absurdities” are available for purchase at a special price.
Since the fall 2022 I have been embarked in the production of a long, challenging and also wonderful project named “Our Time” (Unsere Zeit).
In “Our Time” I continue exploring the intersection of performance and ceramic objects. Performance in this context is understood as a series of intimate, one-on-one encounters.
“Our Time” consists on a series of interviews to a number of residents at the elderly home Bürgerasyl-Pfrundhaus in Zurich. In the second part of the process I produce a series of abstract portraits using painted fired clay as medium.
“Our Time” is a project supported by a Covid-19 Grant from the City of Zurich.
With “Stories To Go”, I am participating in a pop-up edition of Found In Translation. FiT is a social-mediation, storytelling project in which I have been part of in 2021 and 2022. Organized by the foundation ExpoTranskultur, Zurich.

The exhibition and vernissage presenting this wonderful publication can be visited during Zurich Art Weekend at LUMA Schwarzescafe, in Löwenbrau, Zurich.

I participate in this vast and exciting exhibition and series of events brought by Window of Fame.

All summer long, Museum Tinguely will be celebrating performance art in the show BANG BANG - translocal hi:stories of performance art. At the heart of this process-oriented exhibition is the Swiss performance scene, its players, and its networks, although the programme will be international in character.
IT’S A SPRING SHOW includes recent works by Alicia Velázquez and Claudia Kübler. In their 150 m2 space Ruettimann Contemporary concurrently exhibit works by Aoife Dunne, Simon Ledergerber, Hannah Parr, Ingo Rasp, and Valentina Pini.
I am showing a selection of works on the weekend of March 3 & 4, at their pop-up space at Weststrasse 145 in Wiedikon.
The presentation will include drawings from my "Periscope" series, the recent ceramic work "Ceramic World N.2", and the altar piece "Ruega por Nosotros" that I created in Spain in 2019. This work has never been exhibited before.

White, Black and Rituals is a public metaphorical meal in which I will invite to savor togetherness through the personal stories of Spanish women.
The event is part of the series Open Futures: a new cultural initiative in Zurich and also a cooperation between the Shedhalle, the Gessnerallee, the Tanzhaus with Newrope, the Architecture and Urban Transformation Laboratory of the ETH.
Open Futures is dedicated to sustainability and at the same time understands itself as sustainable, both towards the artists and the overarching ecosystem.

Clay is another canvas - or, better said, body - on which memories of what was or what could be or could have been appear. They build and display a narrative of the moment. They record it like a book. Perhaps a map. Used to work on paper - a very fast medium for me - clay is an extremely slow material, impossible to control, surprising and very moody and stubborn
